Cowlishaw: None in the Big 12. I think it's bad for the conference. I don't think any one particular team -- Tech or TCU or Texas -- will get a disproportionate amount of their 2017 recruits. But maybe one will, I don't know how to predict that. Meanwhile the Big 12 isn't as strong on the field as it was a month ago, and that's a problem for the future.

Indeed.
baylor's rags-to-riches-to-pariah saga does damage to both themselves and the conference that's only beginning to be calculable.
