Guy I was talking to who knows two high school coaches in the state (I'll even tell you one of them is the former Navasota high coach) told me the both said strong is starting to win over a lot of the high school coaches in the state. Strong comes to the school, will give them his personal cell number, says to call him anytime if they want to come observe a practice, talk about p

Strong will also sleep with their wives saving them the hassle. Get them some F350s for the players and fix ACT scores; then fire the offending assistant coach. Players will also have plenty of time to spend with family over the holidays because they won't be going to a bowl game.

Oh I don't doubt he's cheating to some degree. He brought that assistant on that's been known for cheating and then let him go to save face.

But perception and appearance matter. These weren't two coaches with an axe to grind against Sumlin just because he didn't answer a phone call or two of theirs, was just legitimate points they expressed. I want Sumlin to do a good job of recruiting, just doesn't seem like he's helping himself sometimes....
