There's nothing 'electric' about a DE/JACK linebacker.
So, no shite a guy that plays CB and also a punt returner is going to be more electric. I'd still take DT over him anyday. 27 sacks in one season? Unheard of. He also had 7 sacks in one game vs the Seahawks, which still stands as an NFL record today as the most sacks in one game.

Finally, a logical response to this issue from a Bama fan. I don't know many people who'd argue that Derrick Thomas isn't one of the best players of all time. He was a monster.
