Offensive line is still the question mark, but the assumption is it will be somewhat better, since it can't get much worse than last year. Defense should be pretty good, but all new coaches so we'll have to see.

And what's the low down on the qb situation in Starkville?

Still undecided as to who the starter will be. Fitzgerald has good quickness so I think if the line play isn't up to par he at least has the ability to escape and make plays. Tiano has no college experience but is supposed to be a powerful runner and the guy who fits Mullen's style the most, from what I've heard. At the end of the day, probably not a whole lot of difference in the 4 qbs at this point, which has some positive about it. Mullen can call his game and if one of them gets dinged up plug another one in. I think it was pretty obvious last year he wasn't using the full play book and trying to protect Dak.

What did you guys seeing out of Harris this spring to make you think he's taken enough of a step forward to put LSU in contention for the West, or do you think he'll basically be in a "just don't screw it up" kind of role?

Tiano is the best QB on the MSU roster but as a frosh I doubt he sees the field unless we are blowing out a non conf team. But the coaching staff thinks he is going to be a beast.
