Sure, but there are many indications its moving that way. Netflix is 1/3rd of primetime internet traffic. Pay TV is dealing with negative growth:



And it is getting to ESPN, who didn't put for a competitive bid for B1G content because of a shrinking subscriber base.

The SEC Contract isn't up for over a decade. By then cord cutting will be a real thing.

The problem for a program like MSU is al a carte is probably worse for them because it needs quality content more than it needs inventory.

It's an issue. I just don't think it's as dire as most think, and if it becomes that way then cable companies will switch gears. They won't just die.
