I think some of you are confused by the word mascot. Have you ever seen a Plainsman or an Eagle costume running up and down the sidelines? We have one mascot, the tigers represented by Aubie.

wouldn't be a complete off season without lsu fans getting bent out of shape over this.

So did you not have a mascot until 1959?
Because thats when Aubie first appeared.
