I was replying to an LSU poster who questioned my claim that A&M has made the jump in terms of overall athletic department, but not (yet) in football. Try and keep up.

No one said "jump in terms of overall athletic department"

He simply said "A&M" meaning A&M football, you know, what this thread is about

you brought overall athletic department into a football thread to deflect, bc it's all you can defend. Congrats I guess, y'all are solid at other sports.

You're a moron. I said that A&M was dominating LSU (and most other SEC schools) in terms of overall athletic program, though not yet in football. He quoted only the "A&M is dominating LSU" part of what I said, along with an eye roll gif. In response, I posted the facts.

Here is what the eye roll gif was responding to:

quote:

As an overall athletic department, we have. That's why you see us dominating LSU (and all other SEC school not named Florida and not relying almost solely on a strong track program) in total number of conference championships since we've been in the conference.

We haven't made the jump in football yet, but we've never truly been an elite national player in terms of support, money, and facilities until just 4 years ago. That's why we had to travel to BR for like 20 straight years just to play LSU back when we were an all-male military school.
