You are such an idiot. The game has nothing to do with this. In most places, you do not expose your private parts in public. Maybe it is different in your state.

It was stupid for sure, but 2 years for a prank that probbaly happens a thousand times a year in every frat house across the country is just as dumb. A big fine, community service and probation would have been more appropriate and the victim could have sued for damages on top of it. Seriously, there are rapists who serve less time in this country...what a jacked up justice system.

If you're trying to relate this to the recent arrests, it's stupid. Victimless crime vs crime with victim.

My point was, the incident is representative of SOME in your fan base. Like the excuses made for illegal drug/weapon violations.

The major difference is private residence and public place.

Prison time for this is outrageous. Crazy shite happens at 3:00am on bourbon st. He didn't walk into Target at 2:00pm and put his junk on a 12 year old girl. As pointed out, had he done that to a 12 year old girl in a sexually threatening manner he probably serves less time. We are effed up these days....

I watched the video, it looked pretty wild and hectic and crowded in there. I don't think many people knew exactly what was going on or how big of a deal it was.

What do you suppose we do about it?

If a couple of onloookers were arrested for accessory to teabagging would that make you feel better?

No, it's not.

The difference is that it was caught on video.

If a stranger came up to you and said "I rubbed my nuts all over your daughter's face while she was sleeping. It was hilarious!!!!!" I don't think you would be saying the same thing.

It wasn't a woman. The person wasn't sleeping. It was a man passed out from drunkenness on freaking Bourbon street

I would. A fine + community service max. No jail time.

He also didn't do this to a 12 year old girl.

Touching someone's genitals against their will, or making someone touch your genitals against their will is sexual assault. You can't have caveats based on gender or intent, because that would open a can of worms for molesters to say "I was just pranking... It was just another guy and he was drunk! I wasn't even sexually aroused!"

If you don't want to go to jail for sexual assault, don't be a piece of shite who sexually assaults someone.

I haven't. He went to jail for a long arse time.

By the same token, if you don't want bad shite like this to happen to you, don't pass out on Bourbon Street. Just common sense.

I'd love to compare some of the posters' comments ITT to their comments in the Peyton Manning thread. Their opinions of how the law should operate definitely changes depending on what team the person accused plays/roots for
