I wouldn't consider SBs near as important Runs or RBIs. And you would think someone who stole so many bases would score more.

runs depend on who's hitting behind you and relying on them to hit you in. RBIs are dependent upon someone else being on base. stolen bases are 100% a product of that individual player producing.

Goodness. You typically can't score runs if someone doesn't hit you in. You can't get RBI's if no one is on base to drive it. Thus, they're largely team-dependent stats.

Stolen bases aren't really team-dependent---unless your coach just doesn't believe in stealing bases or something. I presented simply to show the clear disparity in speed between Senzel and White.

another stat you should consider but probably won't since the benefit doesn't always show up in the box score. Bregman only struck out 22 times in 260 ABs (absurd). Swanson struck out 54 times in 281 ABs (still good).

Tamu as a team is hitting almost 30 points higher as a team plus Senzel's fielding is much better. If I am taking a player for the postseason right now I am taking Senzel over White but only barely.
