I disagree - throwing them off the team for just that would be pretty sh*tty. However, as a human being with a brain and experience (that isn't involved in their fate) I am 100% allowed to come to my own conclusion.
Based on the evidence at this point, it is pretty cut and dry. If it changes, then I will change my opinion. But until then, it's daunting.

I will assume you have very little experience being a part of the justice system, and I am happy for you.
You currently have a fraction of the evidence and only the state's side of the story. You have every right to come to your own conclusion, as you have every right to be wrong. But I hope you make decisions in your own life only after getting all the info, both for your and your family's sake.
Of course, they have an uphill battle legally, but the moral judgements by our fans this morning is sickening.
