Even Kamara has a chance to go fairly high for an RB. He'd be the starter were it not for Hurd and is every bit an every down back but when you're paired with a monster back the size of Hurd (who is bigger than most NFL linebackers) you look a lot smaller than you are.

I wasn't even aware Kamara was draft eligible.

On that note, every RB in next year's draft could drop due to saturation. I'd say right now, the only guy who is almost a surefire first rounder is Fournette.

He actually could've gone this year and explored the possibility although in retrospect I'm not sure how serious he was about it (I think he just wanted to see where his grade was to be honest). He redshirted at Bama then spent a year at JUCO before coming to UT as a redshirt sophomore. He'll be an RS Jr. this season.

And I agree with you on saturation. I think that the 2017 draft is so loaded with RB talent that for once it might be worth an RB staying for a senior year because all of these backs in the discussion are elite but too many in one draft class devalues an already devalued position. It's a risky proposition but one that could pay huge dividends if one of these backs decided to roll the dice while the others all entered the draft.
