Auburn sold out in 2009 to stop Ingram. They succeeded. They just couldn't stop Greg McElroy.

Of course, Auburn only had Neiko Thorpe and Demond Washington to cover him so it was basically hopeless to begin with.

Meh, not really. We couldn't stop the picks of the WR's is more accurate. Also, the turnovers hurt us in that game. McElroy didn't do anything really special. It was quite an average game for a QB. .
