The schedule is easier this year than last. Plus it has always been said that anyone can win 8-10 games at UGA. Well CKSid not supposed to be just anyone. I promise you he's expecting at least double digit wins and as a fan base we should to. You should not just lower expectations. And what new scheme, the defensive scheme is the same, and offensively, your not gonna see much different. This coaching change was about attitude, energy, and expectations. We aren't going to a new type of hybrid defense or switching to a HUNH offense with a pass run option. STOP lowering expectations. It's ridiculous, you just want to layout your excuses now just invade UGA has a worse record than last year. I can guarantee if the dawgs don't win 10 , Kirby, the team, and staff will be pissed. Hell he was pissed the defense wasn't getting turnovers in the first half of a practice. And the type of fanbase UGA deserves should be pissed to!

I understand what you are saying, and i can't blame you. Everybody on here that wanted Richt gone made the criticism that ANY coach could and SHOULD win 10 a year, every year.

HOWEVER, we have a coaching staff that is new to working with each other. The dynamics of decision making during game situations are complicated and the chemistry a coaching staff has to have with one another takes time.

While the plays will be similar, the verbiage used among coaches will be different and the coaches and players will have to get used to it. This is CKS first year as a Head Coach and he will find that things are a whole lot different than when you are an assistant. Communicating with the coaches in the press box and along the sidelines while following the game and making decisions will be something that will take a while to master. Preparing an entire game plan as opposed just a defensive game plan will be new. A new, young QB....there are just so many fluid and moving pieces. Give him a few years before you start making too many great demands.

I am hoping for 9-10 wins this year, bu I won't be ready to run him off if we get 8. Hopefully, Smart will not lose to teams we should beat. Let's face it....Ole miss, Florida and Tennessee all bring in coaching staffs and players with more experience than ours. Shoot....Auburn is a wild card. Right now they look like a dumpster fire, but how many times have they looked like that and come out with a very good year? And who knows (Really) what to expect out of North Carolina?

Let's cool our heels and give Kirby a chance and not start making win or be fired ultimatums until ha has a chance to get his feet wet, and get his players, coaches etc in the program.

Well I won't and no one should be ready to run him off, no matter what. I'm looking forward to what the dawgs could be 5 years from now, but that doesn't mean I don't want to be playing meaningful games in November either immeadiately.

The terminology will not be that differnt , the checks on both sides of the ball yesterday were no different than they have been for 3 years. And the coaches getting used to each other, they all come from relatively the same coaching tree, and have know each other for years. They just all have gotten promotions.

But what you said I don't have a quarrel with, it's the CMR "haters" not the ones who just thought it was time for a change , but those who hated him we he was winning the division, just do not like him. Those that were demanding 10 win seasons and still not happy cause they just hate. And now they are pumping the breaks saying there's no way we can win 10 games that 8 will be a miracle, when if it was still CMR they would be saying we should be in the playoffs , with the exact same talent.

I just think based on schedule and returning talent UGA has a chance. 4 game in my mind a landmines, UNC, OM, UT, UF, all the other games the dawgs have more talent, period. A better QB no matter who starts, and the better weapons all over the feild. I think at worst we go 2-2 in those 4, so that's 10-2, if we lose 3 that's 9-3 , with a bowl game to get to 10. With 4 true tests , should KS expect to at least win 1?
