He's not talking about the student body. He's talking about the football players. And you and I both know SEC football players aren't going to school to become molecular physicists. They're going to school to get huge and whip arse. That's the way we like it, and there's nothing wrong with it.

Feel free to read through my comments in the other thread. I've already broken down how the admission requirements are not as stringent as Shaw would have you believe. Scrooster and others have already gone through and shown how many players from the southern states are getting offers from there. Ultimately, it's Shaw taking a shot... an inaccurate one, but a shot nonetheless.

Ultimately, yes there is a difference is requirements and so Stanford does have to be more selective. It likely *isn't* in their best interest to hold satellite camps. *However*, several of the sec coaches also aren't certain it would have been a good usage of their time and resources, but would have done it if necessary. I'd be willing to bet that had the camps been allowed, Shaw and Stanford would have been out there with them... setting up a camp in ATL among several spots in the southeast.
