Does anyone have a great idea for finally putting Auburn in the SEC East?
UGA is just scared that Auburn/Florida would turn into a larger rivalry than the Cocktail Party.

It's a tough situation. There are really 3 options : Destroy the cross-division game, go to 9 conference games, move Auburn and/or Alabama to the East.
- Alabama and Auburn don't want to lose their games with Georgia and Tennessee. That is an acceptable position.
- Georgia, South Carolina and Florida don't want to go to 9 games because they already have a defacto 9th game against Georgia Tech, Clemson and Florida State. This then means if they play another OOC big game (Notre Dame, North Carolina, Michigan) then they are now at 11 P5 games. That is an acceptable position.
- The East doesn't want to give up Missouri and, say, Vanderbilt for Alabama and Auburn. The East would be a super division with 5 of the big 6 and we'd beat the living hell out of eachother while LSU licks their chops in the West. That is an acceptable position.
So, basically, we get back to the status quo.
