Well. We were close to signing him so we have a vested interest. It's also something that happened in Mississippi and frequently on state media.
So it's kind of a big deal around here.

Oh I agree and I find it laughable that MSU and OM are comparing each other when there are plenty of other schools to choose from....
I assume that Stringfellow was given a set of criteria to remain on scholarship at OM? If so, why did his arrest of disorderly conduct on the Oxford Square not violate his "probation"?

Well aren't you just a fricking genius. Of course I wanted ole miss to sign the guy.
But I don't see how that's relevant to Simmons beating the shite out of a female......other than the fact you're desperately trying to bring up ole miss to distract Simmons from being a pos.

What is this damning evidence based on fact that you bring forth? It never happened because it was om. Don't talk about it.

He may be a pos, not for me to judge. If he serves the time for the crime that's all there is. what else do you want from him. He already apologized.
Your demanding pank, and a hypocritical mofo.
im just glad you finally admitted that you are butthurt and wish badly for someone because they did not choose om. admitting the problem is the first step to arguing about something else.

how many shits would you give if this player played at Delta State?

Is ole miss literally the only thing that crosses your mind?
Honest question ....it's the only thing you seem to be able to talk about.
You want to talk about stringfellow? Fine....start a thread about the guy. He's no more relevant to Simmons beating the shite out of that woman than a duckbill platyapus.
No matter how many times you deflect to ole miss....it doesn't change the fact that Simmons is a pos.

Would he still have beaten a woman in the streets? Yeah I'd still give a shite. Doesn't deserve to play football this fall.

Msu fans love to make assumptions about others opinions. How can you call me a hypocrite if you have no idea where I stand on a subject?

I would have assumed that Chad was done with everything at EMCC with his incident happening over Christmas break and enrolling at OM for Spring semester that January. So, he wasn't really anybody's responsibility school wise with him being done at EMCC and not enrolled at OM yet IMO.
Just the rivalry is all that is.

Because your a sinner man. We all are, haven't you figured that out yet. There is no escaping it and sins are all the same. One is not greater than the other.
Thought Hugh would have taught you that by now.

I've stated this multiple times. Here it goes once more.
Simmons is not an msu student, alumnus, or booster. He is not a representative of Mississippi state as of yet. What he did does not reflect the university in any possible way right now.
I'm not sure how much more clear I can make that fact. This is not a thread about Mississippi state.

because no one believes you. but i'll be sure to be on the lookout for you in every future thread pertaining to criminal behavior, so i can get your take on who deserves to play football

Am I saying I don't want him to have the chance of going to college and bettering his life? No. Just that playing football is a reward and not a right. He shouldn't be on a p5 roster next season.
So what punishment do you see fit? Stringfellow was on your roster the season after he hit a girl.
Posted on 3/29/16 at 4:34 pm to pankReb
Jesus. We have a tPOS on our roster. You have a tPOS on your roster.
Simmons will play next year. Stringfellow will play next year.
Both hit a girl.
No one is trying to "deflect". We are stating facts that you can't argue w/. You're an OM fan saying Simmons is a "thug" so the OBVIOUS response is pointing to Stringfellow, someone on your own team, and pointing out how he hit a girl as well. If you can't see how those relate, no one here can help you.

Here's what you are missing...
Regardless of schools, we can all agree that as individuals our actions have consequences, and we should be held accountable for the choices we make.
Stringfellow made his mistake, and consequently he got kicked off his football team. Afterward, Ole Miss gave him an opportunity for redemption, but he was punished for his actions. So far... to my knowledge, Stringfellow has been trouble free, thus he has hopefully learned from his experience.
So if you want to 'relate'... allowing Simmons to remain on the team is nothing like Stringfellow's situation. If Simmons remains on the team then the message to State players is that there are no accountability or repercussions for their actions.
I'm not saying that people should just give up on Simmons and that he should never play football again, but if he is not held accountable for his actions (assaulting a woman)... State is actually doing him a disservice...
