We've just fired the baseball coach, the basketball coach and the football coach all in a 5 year time-frame...that were supposed to get better results than the coaches before them...and the ones before them...and, et. al...for a new batch that are repeating the process.

I am not seeing a positive pattern here.

Jay Jacobs hired all of them.

So either it is bad job by the AD, or just a really great time to quit a million dollar coaching opportunity by these "failing" coaches who seem to keep being showed the door out.

We won an SEC championship in football three years ago. Sure last year wasn't good, but you can't expect a green head coach to not have a few bumps in the road. I'm not ready to throw in the towel on football because of a 7-6 season.

We had a bad basketball season because we were hammered with injuries. We were decent at the start of the year and the 15, 16, and 17 classes are going to be the three best we've ever signed. Really though, if you think we can do better than Pearl, then you're delusional.

Don't really follow baseball, so I'm not going to comment on that.

In Knoxville, that would be considered stability.
