I'm still not convinced that our pitching can sustain their success all year. I'd feel better if Crowe weren't out for the year.

Up to this point in time, our pitching has vastly exceeded most people's expectations. With both Crowe and Mincey out, we looked to be down 2 weekend starters. However, the freshmen Webb and Hill have stepped up huge and now we have more depth than we knew. Hill had been lights in his previous 5 games, and he stared today K'ing 4 of the first 6 batters, but then they caught up to what he was doing.

Next year we'll have an incredible pitching rotation, but this year, I've been really impressed with what they've accomplished up to this point in time.
