But for every positive development with college students, Craft said he's worried about clashes. "Thousands are together in one group on the beach and it's a lot of different schools and sometimes that is a volatile environment," Craft said.

Students from Texas A&M, the University of Tennessee, the University of Alabama and Auburn University have been visible on beaches this week, and LSU students are expected next week.

I could be wrong, but I feel like not many college kids on spring break aren't gonna go picking a fight because your team beat my team in football. I understand the concern, because naturally there will be drinking and friction. It still seems ridiculous though.
