They went missing a couple weeks ago while out fishing and there have been searches since then, with the exception of a day or so when the weather was too bad.

The bassist for the Velcro Pygmies and his brother were the ones missing. The bassist was found today. I can't imagine what their parents have been going through.

Jeremiah Sanders, left, and his brother Jacob Sanders went missing March 2 on Florence Harbor. Jeremiah, 29, was general manager of Ricatoni's in Florence and 24-year-old Jacob was the bass player for the popular band Velcro Pygmies.

The body of one of two brothers missing since a March 2 boating accident on Florence Harbor has been found and rescuers continue searching for the second.

A fisherman found the body of 24-year-old Jacob "Jake" Sanders Tuesday morning near Colbert County's Pride Landing, about 10 miles from where the damaged fishing boat belonging to Sanders and his brother, 29-year-old Jeremiah "Jim" Sanders, was found early May 3.

The brothers, both of Florence, were reported missing the night of March 2 after they failed to return on time from a fishing outing on Florence Harbor. Their bass boat was found overturned and trapped under Singing River Bridge the next morning.

I read earlier, that a fisherman found one of the bodies, I didn't know which one. So many things can go wrong night fishing, it compounds problems when the water is cold, like it is now.

It's incredibly sad. The Pygmies are from here in Louisville. Have seen them several times on the local scene. Just awful.
