NCAA committee just hates the SEC. On the reg we get left out despite showing up and doing well at the tournament.
Frank Martin scheduled only one true road game in his OOC and only teams that are fringe tournament teams. This is on him

I don't think so. I think the problem is bad OOC scheduling. Obviously there are some exceptions but outside of UK obviously and UF under Donovan and Tennessee under Pearl, SEC teams have not played marquis OOC schedules consistently. It's not a coincidence that those teams were comfortably in the field every single year even when they lost 4 or 5 non conference games.
When you are playing a handful of name teams every year it can only help you. Losing to them doesn't affect anything and beating 1 or 2 of them pushes you ahead of the entire bubble.
Tennessee plays UNC, Gonzaga, IU, UVA, GT and possibly Zona next year plus a loaded Maui field.
Losing those games doesn't hurt you but if you win even 1 or 2 that is probably a better OOC win than anyone else on the bubble is going to have.
