We are so scared as a society that I can't bring a diaper bag in for my 8 month old.

Yea because no terrorist would ever use that to their advantage

Freedoms and security. I think Ben Franklin had a quote about that.

Well, you have to do something with them before you take them with you to the bar after the game.

Im trying to understand why my statement deserved this. They are checking bags because people bring shite in the game in bags. Not just alcohol. So if they are checking everyones bags, should we just not look in diaper bags because they are for kids stuff? :roll eyes:

Seriously

Graduated in '12 and we always had a DD- designated decoy- for the student section. We'd have a few people acting low key with stuff hidden and then one more person acting crazy but not enough to not let in the gates. They pat him down and everyone else walks in freely. Worked 2 years in a row

Items that will not be permitted include camera cases, diaper bags, printed patterned plastic bags, purses, back packs, mesh bags, binocular cases, fanny packs or tote bags.

Maybe you need to read this again.

That's not the case anymore. For the past 3 years I haven't entered the student section without being fully patted down

Damn man. I will say, they definitely discriminate by how you're dressed. I'm convinced of it. I'd see folks walk in just wearing a tshirt and jeans not get touched, but if the guy behind him is wearing a tucked in collared shirt he's getting patted.

The kind who take pictures, blow it up to 36x48, and frame it with the label "Baby's first Auburn Game!"

There will also be lockers that fans can use to store their items and then retrieve them following the game.

Well to be fair that's in the student section. They don't give a shite whether they bring stuff in or not as long as you aren't already plastered going in.

I was there in the early 2000s and they all but cavity checked me.

Took until the last sentence of the 4th paragraph but I knew if I kept reading I'd get to the bottom of this.
