What's changed??

Let me illustrate my point. Just look at the Presidential results in Gwinnett, a county that has been absorbing hundreds of thousands of white transplants from other parts of the country for more than 30 years. It's not these transplants that are voting democrat. Just look at how the percentages correspond. Also remember that 1992 and 1996 had strong third party candidates that siphoned off lots of votes from the GOP candidate.

1984: Reagan 80 - Mondale 20; White 93 - Non-White 7
1988: Bush 76 - Dukakis 24; White 91 - Non-White 9
1992: Bush 54 - Clinton 29; White 89 - Non-White 11
1996: Dole 59 - Clinton 33; White 77 - Non-White 23
2000: Bush 64 - Gore 32; White 73 - Non-White 27
2004: Bush 66 - Kerry 33; White 67 - Non-White 33
2008: McCain 55 - Obama 44; White 53 - Non-White 47
2012: Romney 54 - Obama 45; White 47 - Non-White 53
