Pretty much agree with all of this.
What's amazing is that so many people on tRant say he's slow. I don't remember him ever getting caught from behind at Bama. If he gets going, it's over.

Yea, that's dumb. He's not slow at all. He isn't shifty, but if he is in a footrace with pretty much anybody on the field he is going to win. Just see the multiple examples from last year for proof.

For perspective, Henry had six 40+ yard runs this past year.
Eddie Lacy and TJ Yeldon combined for 4 in 2012.
He's the only RB I can remember at Bama that didn't routinely get hawked down from behind. Once he was in the secondary, he wasn't going to be caught.

I'm not so sure how his game will translate to the NFL given his aforementioned weaknesses and the fact that running backs his size generally don't last very long, but him being "slow" won't hold him down. He's fast, especially given his size.

he has PLENTY of straight line speed. he just doesn't have a lot of lateral quickness, which shouldn't come as a shock to a guy who's 6'3" 250

I was reading an article from 20 something talking head last night that was saying Henry was slow, fat, golly he's up to 245 pounds..he's always been 245. He's plenty fast enough that nobody ever caught him from behind. Don't even start on how strong he is.
People don't know what hell they are talking about. Most of these "bloggers" now are so bad I wouldn't even call them hacks. The NFL scouts like what they see. That's probably a better gauge.
