That's what his mom said they were offering. Seems like 400k was the top bonus for 5th round last year but it's not far off and that's straight from the players mom. She said he wants to pitch in the SEC and they are originally from Arkansas so unless he gets a better round and more money he's going to pitch for Arkansas next year.

Actually that's wrong...one kid got over 900k in the 5th round and another in the 6th got 600k. So sometimes will go over slot if the player will sign. This kid i'm talking about would be considered a hard sign at this point because he's been committed to Arkansas for over a year.
