it really is georgia.
we don't have much. but we do have that.
georgia's past 5 feature backs have been crowell, marshall, gurley, chubb and michel.
only one 4 star in that group, who just won nfl offensive rookie of the year.
crowell was a mess, but won freshman of the year in his only season.
marshall was elite his freshman season. unfortunately, his career was a tragedy.
chubb was on pace to have herschel statistics. heisman candidate. matching herschel records.
two years in a row the dawgs have had a heisman candidate in the backfield, but due to injuries and suspensions, their seasons were cut short. each time the star went down, the next man up steps in and has a 1,000 yard season.
georgia's backfield has been the most star-studded in the country the past few seasons combined. still, at the end of the day, something always goes wrong and other schools lay claim to having the best backs at season's end. it's true, georgia never finishes the drill...but they have the best backs. georgia is rbu. other schools claim the title by way of default due to uga's tendency to underachieve.

Sorry to disagree, but none of these reached their potential while at UGA....yet. Chubb can if he comes back strong in 2016. Michel could, too, but I would not count him (at this time) as a top RB in the SEC, AT THIS TIME.
