8 yards and a touchdown.
he threw for as many touchdowns as your whole team has combined for.

this is hilarious.
georgia fans know our team kinda sucks. you saying they suck is meaningless. south carolina in columbia has still been our easiest game of the season, though. so yeah.

if you make georgia look good, you're an absolutely terrible football team.
easiest game of the season. and georgia didn't even bring a quarterback.
south carolina stank-azz trash.

i want to be happy that south carolina is absolutely atrocious. i wanna make fun of them for having a team full of sissy bitches, but georgia simply isn't much better. these guys have no idea how to put a team away.

that's cool. you're obviously a humble fan, as am i.
but chubb certainly has. he filled the shoes of the best back uga's had in the past 30 years and the offense barely missed a beat...and followed that up as a heisman favorite going into 2015. within a month, he had tied a record set by herschel himself.
crowell has reached pay dirt 13 times in his nfl career in 2 seasons...he has reached his potential.
todd gurley just won oroty honors in the nfl and made a franchise forget the running back they had who finished 6th in the 2013 heisman race...reached his potential.
michel came into a hopeless situation last season. he's very very good. when you move him around the field, he's a game-changer.
marshall...meh. you're right.
i mentioned that georgia never finishes the drill. its backs fall victim to that. they can't match bama's backs in terms of achievements, but no team can match bama in terms of achievements period.
georgia's backs are second to none the past 5 years. going forward, another team will probably have the claim.

yeah, until chaney proves he can get georgia clicking in any area offensively, georgia is vanilla u currently.
lsu probably has the best running game going into next season. tennessee has a great talent. arkansas has an awesome running game. no one can say with any confidence what georgia will be.
alabama is just footballu. their recent body of work separates them from the rest in most discussions comparatively speaking.

no, not at all. just my opinion. i was just pointing out that star ratings are a good indicator of a player's abilities. these guys are top-notch across the board and have been the main factor in separating wins from losses. without the benefit of the great offensive lines of arkansas or the dominant overall rosters of alabama. without the threat of a passing game. in 2014 georgia's backfield made an offense without an aerial attack the number one scoring offense in the conference. against sec defenses loading the box every week. when healthy, they're that good.
lsu has an elite talent that is among the very best in football. georgia has had 2 of those. that's all i'm saying.

it really is georgia.
we don't have much. but we do have that.
georgia's past 5 feature backs have been crowell, marshall, gurley, chubb and michel.
only one 4 star in that group, who just won nfl offensive rookie of the year.
crowell was a mess, but won freshman of the year in his only season.
marshall was elite his freshman season. unfortunately, his career was a tragedy.
chubb was on pace to have herschel statistics. heisman candidate. matching herschel records.
two years in a row the dawgs have had a heisman candidate in the backfield, but due to injuries and suspensions, their seasons were cut short. each time the star went down, the next man up steps in and has a 1,000 yard season.
georgia's backfield has been the most star-studded in the country the past few seasons combined. still, at the end of the day, something always goes wrong and other schools lay claim to having the best backs at season's end. it's true, georgia never finishes the drill...but they have the best backs. georgia is rbu. other schools claim the title by way of default due to uga's tendency to underachieve.

re: I don't understand the "Alabama Dynasty"
Posted by flowsion on 2/9/16 at 5:03 am
i was referring to the alabama dynasty. it pretty much announced its arrival by curb-stomping my dawgs in athens during the infamous blackout of 2008. i paid much more money than i should have to attend and haven't felt confident enough to make the trip again since.
alabama hurt us that night. and it lives on even now, as georgia refuses to bring back the black.
i thought that alabama's dynasty had made its national tour and was destined to die in athens last season. stupid prediction, i know. they hurt us again.
the hangovers from them skull-dragging us all over our own classic city are the reasons i'll be the first to admit that the alabama dynasty is a real thing that has caused me much pain.

i never said the dawgs had one? i'm a very humble georgia fan. i wasn't implying anything other than the op made a very bad post that was sure to be ripped apart.
georgia has had their moments. less than some, more than most. they have always been approximately a top-20 football program throughout their existence and have given me plenty to cheer about.
football programs that have celebrated true dynasties are few and far between. it's an elite club. i have the comfort of knowing that georgia is as capable as any other to be the next. hopefully they got rid of what was holding them back.

spot on. he flaunts his greatness and shows his glaring flaws in equal volumes. he is loud and unpleasant, and i really wish he would mature, but he shows no sign that he intends to.

eason isn't just another freshman. he can already make all the throws. georgia's passing game will be far more capable than it was this past season the second he takes his first snap in atlanta...yet also more vulnerable to turning it over.
if chubb is indeed healthy for that game, georgia is the one team that will just line up and punish mississippi with the run game.
these things could definitely happen...
...but still. georgia is also in my opinion the biggest question mark going into 2016. i don't think anyone can predict what they will be with any confidence. could be 12-1 sec champs(not likely) or 7-5 and tied for 3rd in the east.
i mean 10 in a row against the rebs can't be ignored...but times have changed and i expect it will be a close, competitive game of inches that will go to the most fortunate team that catches a break. usually that favors the better team top-to-bottom, and in this case, the home team as well. dawgs probably lose in a close one.
