On Finebaum the other day Marcus called in just to talk (and hawk his new book). He said he was being offered money by several schools...including 250k/year to attend one school. Claimed Bama didn't offer anything but Bear advised him not to attend if he was planning on being coached by him.
It was a pretty cool phone interview.

And I think he mentioned that the reason Southern was in consideration and us/OM was not was because Southern was winning and we weren't. Or something like that
