Why do some fans of teams want their coach fired when their team has little to no history of basketball success. Tough to build a dominant program in basketball especially when it is probably the 3rd most cared about sport on your campus.
I have seen threads of us, LSU, Ole Miss, and A&M wanting their basketball coach fired. On the bubble or in the tournament should get all these coaches at these schools a contract extension.

Billy Kennedy inherited a program that had been to the NCAA tournament 6 straight years.
5 years later, he hasn't made the dance. The most talented team in A&M history is about to miss the tournament because of how much of a colossal failure he is as a coach.
His career win pct is .548 (300-247)
His win pct at A&M is .567 (89-68), .440 (37-47) in conference play
By comparison, here were his two predecessors:
Billy Gillispie: 70-26 (.729), 31-17 (.646) in conference
Mark Turgeon: 97-40 (.708), 38-26 (.593) in conference
Billy Kennedy has to win one more conference game (in year 5) to TIE the number of conference wins his predecessor had after FOUR seasons.
