I've gotten a loaner for repair work. Never been offered/received a loaner for body work. In the instances I've gotten a vehicle loaner during body work, that's been in the form of a rental car and may or may not be covered by insurance, depending on coverage.

That must have been some significant vandalism. I'm sure there was a police report filed and submitted to the insurance company. I wonder what the cost to repair the vehicle was?
