the rule against OL blocking downfield has been in effect since day one in football. itd appears that the originators of the sport saw real quick that when the DB's got killed, every play was a TD.

I can understand everyone bashing him because it's SECRant and he deserves it . But let's educate him on why it wouldn't be good for the game.
1. The DBs would be getting murdered by linemen blindsiding them
2. The LBers would no longer be able to key in on run or pass by reading the linemen
What else y'all got?
