Haha I didn't grow up here, just here for postgrad. From Florida originally though. But yeah, Orlando isn't the best city. I'd much prefer to live over in Tampa.

Call me childish but I plan on living in Orlando or somewhere around it one day. Disney world just makes me feel like a kid again every time I go and just takes stress away and all negativity.

I would've gotten better grades, if my high school wasn't across the street from Universal Studios. I figured out how to sneak into Islands of Adventure less than a month after it opened.

Orlando is a great place if you're into alternative culture. If not, keeping up with the Jones's can be difficult and unrewarding.

Edit: Source: Grew up there. Went to Edgewater before moving the Prattville High School.

There are great parts of Orlando definitely. It's an interesting city because the East side is like a normal college town up and down Alafaya near UCF, then the West side is a typical downtown with lots of bars and nightlife, in between there is a gorgeous area near Lake Eola and Winter Park, then down South you have the entire world of Theme Parks. It's like three cities in one basically with how much in sprawls. It's a bitch to get around if you want to go to anywhere though. Traffic ain't so bad though, just a far drive.
