re: Class of 2017 Recruiting MEGATHREAD: Say Your Goodbyes Edition

So as we near signing day I'm getting more and more into watching film, and trying to learn more about some of the nations best players, but mostly watching Bama commits.

One player I checked out tonight is Tyrell Shavers.

First... this kid is huge. He is without a doubt the biggest WR that CNS would have had to this point.

I watched Julio Jones, Cam Sims, Derek Kief, Alshon Jeffery, Calvin Johnson, Dorial Green-Beckham and AJ Greens high school film to figure out which big WR Shavers most reminded me of.

The best film out of these guys COMING OUT OF HS belongs to AJ Green IMO if anyone is curious.

Shavers is most similarly built to Green IMO, but Shavers is bigger. When comparing Shavers to DGB, DGB was noticeably bigger in his legs/core, but the two do look similar, and honestly I think Shavers has more wiggle for a big fella than DGB had.

So I guess what I'm trying to say is Shavers physically looks like a mix of AJ Green and DGB.

Shavers SR. highlight reel shows a guy with a ridiculous catch radius, the ability to high point the ball, and deceptively good speed/ability to break some ankles in the open field.

Bottom line this guy is a really exciting prospect IMO, and I'm kinda surprised he is not getting more attention.
