- When interviewing 2017 quarterback Jake Fromm (Warner Robins, Ga./Houston Co.), it was apparent early on that there was some effort being made not to mention any program other than Alabama, the school he is committed to. Fromm does appear solid in his commitment to the Tide at the moment, but the same day I visited him, Bulldogs' offensive coordinator Jim Chaney stopped by the school. Fromm did agree that the push from Kirby Smart, his recruiter of record at Alabama, to now consider Georgia has created a "unique and different situation." It will be interesting to see what Georgia does with Fromm, who plans to enroll early.
