His recruiting the past 2 years has been in an effort to have available scholarships for the next 2 classes.
This is why he went JUCO last year.
This is why he didn't tie up a 4 year slot with a warm body.
But no one wanted to hear this two years ago, so the point was moot.

He also had at least one player that decided to take a check instead of play for the hogs.
