You're missing the point. The problem is not Obama letting 'them' in. The point is that drug smuggling, immigration, and cartels are just a symptom of a bigger problem, and that's a failed Mexican Government.

That's true ... but Obama is doing it for political purposes, for votes and future votes for his party ... the anchor babies in coming years and elections.

Bush was just as complicit ... but Obama has taken it to a whole new level. There is no filtering-out of the bad guys. A border patrol higher-up testified about it today. Everyone is coming through now ... and not just cartel people mixed in with the hard workers. But ISIS and Al Qaeda ... everyone is getting through.

Our borders are now wide open like never before.

It has to stop, however, whatever.

I agree with BlackPawnMartyer about one thing ... employees who employ illegals should be prosecuted. That would stop it and a lot of the hard workers would have to go home ... the ones remaining we should go after and then weed out the bad guys.

I've got family, ranchers, in El Paso and the surrounding area and some of the stories they tell about having their cattle and horses butchers, their homes broken into ... and how the Feds show-up and basically handcuff them to prevent them from responding and protecting their property.

It's outta hand.

And after 8 years this problem, as well as pretty much every other problem, has gotten worse

So we need to focus on fixing the Mexican government?

What is "Conservative" about that POV?

We are not the World's Police force. Build a damned wall and let Mexicans sort out Mexico. Send them 20 million or so more Mexicans with good resumes to help the process.
