The St. Paul's defensive lineman, who was named Class 5A Lineman of the Year in Montgomery on Wednesday, told AL.com that he is no longer considering Oregon and Notre Dame.

That leaves Auburn, Stanford, Southern Cal, Texas and Alabama.

National Signing Day is Feb. 1.

"I will probably commit sometime next week," he said. "I haven't finalized anything. I've got a few visits left, and I want to see what they have to offer."

Texas and Auburn coaches visited Johnson earlier this week. Southern Cal is also scheduled to do an in-home visit this week.

Johnson said he will take an official visit to Auburn this weekend and to Texas during the week next week. He could visit USC or Alabama on the final weekend before signing day.
