Not melting. Just don't agree that there's some sort of huge conspiracy theory. I do think the recruiting services value the evaluations of Bama's staff, and understandably so.
Every single recruiting class Nick Saban has signed as the head coach of an SEC school has gone on to win at least one national championship.
There have only been 2 recruiting classes that finished #1 that didn't play for at least one national championship, and both were USC classes of the late 2000s.

I don't really care if it's a conspiracy or not. It's relatively harmless. It's something I have grown accustomed to over the past several years of following recruiting. If LSU ever manages to get a class that actually rates higher than Bama's, I'll know for sure it's the best ever. ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/IconLOL.gif)

Not a conspiracy theory, just your second sentence plus the fact that they will generally rate uncommitted players higher than committed ones to keep interest high. LSU's class is almost full so they took a big hit from the readjustments.
