If a player or recruit receives benefits from a booster, the NCAA cannot hold the school responsible.

You have to understand that most of these Ole Miss fans who are so confident that nothing will happen because of OM's "cooperation" didn't even have hair on their balls when Bama got hit for the textbook scandal. Hell, their daddies didn't even yet have hair on their balls when the Albert Means scandal happened.
