So you are implying that Ole Miss's current position with the recruits rankings and current football success is all because of $$ from these wealthy supporters?

In terms of wealthy boosters, I don't think Ole Miss is even in the top 20. I've always heard that Texas has the wealthiest boosters. A few years ago, it was rumored that Texas may have the resources to take Saban from Bama. Oregon is a school that has the backing of Nike.

So if Ole Miss is doing some illuminati method to paid their recruits and manage to keep these recruit and NCAA quiet, other schools like Texas and Oregon will be doing it too. Yet, Oregon is at #24, and Texas is at #37.

1) Oregon has a scheme that they fit people into, so, they recruit differently.

2) Texas is a basket case...it's a case of too much money and too much politics. Still could be that the ghost of Darrell K. Royal infects them even tough he's been dead for over 3 years.

3) There is nothing wrong with the Mannings, Tuohys, Doc, Dickie and Nut pumping money in. But don't for a minute think that high end recruits like Tunsil and Treadwell were jettisoning more established powers like Notre Dame and USC in the case of Treadwell because they wanted to play for an unproven coach who's previous claims fame was coaching girls basketball...and allegedly getting frisky with one of them, having Leigh Ann Tuohy deliver him a 300 lb kid from the projects and giving Arkansas State a winning season in one season. Yeah it was the money.
