You and others conveniently forget there are UF grads from the Post WWII era onward that have season tickets, and whether it's Jalen or someone else, as long as UF has a football team, those alumni will be buying tickets and attending games and paying booster fees. A huge chunk of revenue has zero to do with individual players.

This is a great point and doesn't get talked about enough in this debate. How much revenue is really driven by the athletes?

Ask the Cubs or even Titans fans. Fans will show up even in bad times when play is bad. Fans were showing up to Neyland and filling up 100k stadium back when television didn't cover many games and revenue was MUCH lower. Fans at UT literally showed up to watch the grass grow when the astroturf was stripped and we returned to a natural field.

I have a hard time believing that if fans will ask to be let in to see the grass grow that they're going to games because of specific players.
