How has LSU been able to play such an insanely easy schedule? Since 1933, Auburn has literally played an extra 100 games against other "Big6 + Georgia Tech" teams compared to LSU.

LSU had two perennial doormats on the schedule from 1893 to the 1990's in Florida and Ole Miss.

If you notice, neither Bama, UT, Auburn or Georgia played Ole Miss yearly until the 92 expansion and only Auburn and Georgia played Florida yearly. Auburn played UT, Bama and UGA every year which bumps them up a lot. We take a hit for State and Vandy but playing AU and UT every year puts it back up there.

LSU didn't start playing Florida every year until the 1970's.

Ole Miss under John Vaught was elite. Granted, they sucked for the other 100 years but for those two decades they whooped some arse.
