That's when I became a fan. Listened on radio and could not understand the dislike of the Bruins by most everyone. Funny how they thought putting the court in the center of the Astrodome would work for the live spectators. UCLA later avenged the loss.

I remember it was a mid-week game and it was televised for some reason.
Correction: just looked it up. It was a Saturday game.
