No, obviously they can't control that.

But when you have the 219 ranked SOS thus far, it does cause people to question the validity of your team's work thus far.

Fair enough.

Still, 16-1 is 16-1 and Cocky has a favorable schedule going forward.

It is what it is.

If we look at what UF has done, UF has 6 losses: Michigan State, Purdue, Miami, Tennessee, Florida State, and Texas A&M.

Easily the worst loss by far for UF is to Tennessee. The 5 other losses are to 4 top 15 teams and a very tough Florida State team with 2 of the most talented freshmen in the country.

So you lost to Tennessee, who SCAR plays at their place this week. You lost to FSU, who was beaten in the Paradise Jam by Hofstra, who we beat before winning the tourney championship. And you lost to FSU, who was beaten by Clemson, a team that we beat, in the exact same arena. You were also beaten by Miami, who was also beaten by Clemson ... who, again, we beat at their place.

We've also beaten Vandy, at their place. They are a Top 50 RPI team, are they not?

I'm trying to understand your point here?

Not shitting on Cocky, but when the schedule has been like that thus far, thats the way it is.

Yes it is .... thank you.

USCe's reality will come crashing down long before they play A&M, but I will still enjoy the arse whooping they get when we play them.

You should know better than to put too much stock into early season tournaments.

Teams right now are nowhere close to where they were at that point.

Vanderbilt is actually RPI 54, which is close to Top 50. They have also been struggling really badly as of late. They were a trendy pick to be an SEC contender prior to the season. They haven't lived up to that.

South Carolina deserves credit for that win, but note that was also in Columbia.

So there is a lot of things to consider.
