I was born in Memphis but raised in the Missouri Bootheel. Have lived in MO all my life. MO is like most medium to large size states and has different regions. I could go on and on about MO, but I won't. But I'll talk about places in the SEC footprint that I have visited.

I've learned every state/city has their advantages and disadvantages.

TN - beautiful state. I like Nashville a lot. We had a cabin on Reelfoot Lake in W. TN when I was a kid. Great place and times in my life. Love the TN River too. Memphis BBQ, enough said. I could retire in TN.

AR - NW is beautiful like southern MO. I know NE AR the best mainly while hunting. Like the Hot Springs area too. Norfork Lake is great. I could retire in AR.

TX - Big with many regions. Love the people except horn fans. The south part is too Latino for me. But the gulf coast is good. Dallas, Austin, Houston and San Antonio are good to visit...then leave. I like East TX the best. I could retire in TX.

KY - darn good folks. I really like beautiful KY, west to east. The Derby and Keeneland! KY Lake! Corvettes! I could retire in KY.

FL - Stay away from the women. My ex-wife was from there and she ripped me a good one. I prefer the SW FL area. The Panhandle is darn good. Miami is too NJ/NY for me. I could retire in FL.

GA - beautiful state and darn good folks. Savannah is great. ATL is good for a SECCG then leave town. GA reminds me of MO without a coast.

SC - the Low Country is great. Charleston and Hilton Head are very nice. Great, great beauty and charm.

MS - pretty state. A bit stuck in the past, but that's okay. Parts remind me of MO. Lots of history.

AL - Probably my least visited SEC state. Only been in the extreme north and south. Never been to the middle area. Y'all better be glad you have football. Mobile area is very cool.

LA - only been to NO several times. Great food. Nice to visit NO then leave. NO is very dirty and I never felt safe. I like the spirit of the people.
