What makes Clemson players different from players in the SEC? Clemson shares a state with USC and is an hours drive to UGA. They recruit from the same pool of talent as these schools.

Coots talking about not making it through the SEC..Even if it was true, talk about the pot calling the kettle black. In their only conference championship appearance, they were handed a beatdown reminiscent of our 2003 cake walk in the roach

Their point is Wake Forest and NC State don't beat you up like Miss St or Texas A&M. I think we can agree that every P5 conference has one or two brutal games. They are saying the 5-6 win teams beat you up in prep for those brutal games.
Again, I think it's a tired argument. I find that teams get beat up and injured against FCS schools because injuries are flukey. I mean for frick's sake, Oregon got a rash of injuries against Wyoming.
