Press Release here.

Loss of scholarships, vacated wins from 13-14, post season ban (lol).

Worst part of all this means KA gets another year to continue running the program into the ground as well as a massive amount of new excuses.

That is just the self-ban stuff. NCAA can hit with more.

Joe Walljasper @JoeWalljasper
Missouri says it received a verbal NCAA notice of inquiry on April 14, 2014. Frank Haith took the Tulsa job four days later.

I guess maybe this is why we hired Anderson. No one actually qualified was going to take the job anyway.

Which part? That he gets another year or that he's running the program into the ground?

So shouldn't that mean the sanctions follow him to Tulsa?

That he gets another year.

The only sanctions right now are one scholarship lost. We're not even using them all right now.

Without a "show cause" clause, I don't think it effects him.

Well hell... I don't know what to say to you guys here. Yeah, it happens in major sports programs. UNC managing to ninja their way out of not getting a death penalty so far is the most glaring example of the haves playing with different rules then the have nots.

Still this sucks for the program. There is a decent, and unfair, chance that the NCAA drops the hammer on Mizzou so that when they give UNC a wink and nod they have some cover. Short term this is going to be a bite in the butt.

Long term... well y'all were going to clean house anyway. This just gives you one more reason to do so. Probably going to mean another year or two of wandering in the desert but the state of Missouri produces enough basketball talent that a competent recruiter can build a very solid program.

Now more then ever though... you have to replace KA with someone who can recruit and coach.

My friend who was Denmon and Lbows roommate/good friend at mizzou just told me a few minutes ago when I told him what happened, "looks like zach and Jordan finally got caught".

Yes, it's time to clean the whole fricking house at this point.Problem is, what coach not in DII would want to fix it?
