how do they miss someone lined up in the neutral zone that much. half his body over the line. stopped our first drive more than likely. and at least one other time by the same dude. they usually call all the off sides and movement penalties.

It looked like they missed it more than once tbh.
Which is odd, because I thought they caught it the first time --- you would think they would have been looking for it.

There were bad call both ways. The better team won

I was wondering the same the thing. I think the refs said frick it, we can’t call offsides every play. Lawson was clearly lined up in the neutral zone 10+ times. Oh well, Tide rolled to the title, good for them.

How many holding calls were called on bama in that game?

probably the same way they missed knowing how to operate a clock

PI on Minkah was the worst call but these games with two top caliber teams playing on a completely different level than usual are difficult to call.

I think it just boils down to it was not a championship crew for a championship game.
Not as bad as lot of the ACC called games during the year -- - so there is that.

3? I heard Herbies dumbass mention it at least on 4 or 5 occasions. No need to argue. We’re all just a bunch of shite heads watching a dynasty anyway.

See it works both ways. Maybe Clemson just has superior line play, so they let Bama hold to make the game even. Just for good TV, ya know.

Well we never got called for holding the entire game, so...

I saw them lined up in the neutral zone on several occasions. But, I think Alabama may have gotten away with a call a time or two, too.

Corner backs have it rough these days. when it's both ways with the arms it's always called on the defense. they already gotta go up against taller, stronger guys.

I wish we would have held 98 more.

I thought it was evenly called. Alabama got 2 holding calls if I remember- both on Dominick Jackson.

i understand all the missed holdings and whatnot but they usually don't miss any off sides/movements
