Biggest thing I'm worried about next year is our secondary. They got beat way too often this season

Strongest area of his defenses at Vandy were usually the secondary so it's probably pretty reasonable to believe that he'll be very hands on with the DB's

Shoop is a DB guy similar to Debord being an OL guy. And we saw how much better our OL got with an OC that gives a shite about it. Same for secondary with Shoop, I think

He's a DB coach. I don't get the hate for Martinez. Sure, he wasn't good at UGA as the DC but how many secondary coaches are clearly better at coaching, recruiting, staff cohesiveness, etc.? He's a piece of the coaching staff. I don't think he's some great coach. It's not like we are relying on him to scheme up a strategy to stop Baylor's passing offense. I mean how many sophisticated passing offenses do we play in the SEC? The only secondary coaches I can even name are the ones that coached the Vols in the past and may be at other schools now.
