There's no precise count of Jewish-Americans but the popular idea is that the numbers in Israel and America are roughly equivalent.

I don't think so. Since I don't use the term race the way you, or most others do, it's difficult for me to respond to your comment.

Suffice it to say that I absolutely think that modern Jews are the survivors of very long term persecution. The most intelligent have lived and have logically oriented to professions of high complexity and profitability.

Just in physics, my area of interest, a Jewish presence is overwhelming. I sincerely think we would not be nearly as advanced if not for their contributions.

I said "more than a religion." There have been no extreme selection pressures on Muslims as there have been with Jews. World population counts show this. 1 billion+ Muslims compared to 15 million Jews is a rather stark difference in numbers.

Yes. This is what I mean when I say that Judaism is more than a religion. I think history shows that the Jewish population has been whittled down to the smartest and most capable.

Some people would say that the Jews consider themselves to be more intelligent than other groups. I contend that they are, in fact, superior because of historical pressures to survive.

It's human nature to resent those who regard themselves as superior even if that regard originated in the minds of those who are offended.
